For our office in Rotterdam, we are looking for a Broker Marine Insurance (m/f/d).
Your Tasks:
- Servicing the company’s existing client portfolio in their daily operations
- Support and advice for clients in the shipping industry
- Development of insurance packages and coverage concepts with a focus on ship insurance
- Negotiating placements with international underwriters and cover holders
- Administrating and producing relevant insurance documentation
- Preparation of statistics and presentations in MS PowerPoint and Excel
- Invoicing and clearing of premiums with insurers and clients
- Successfully completed studies (business administration, economics, maritime sector) or completed apprenticeship as a shipping agent or transport insurance agent with initial work experience in the maritime industry
- Experience in the marine insurance or shipping industry is an advantage
- Affinity and accuracy in dealing with numbers in daily business
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- High customer- and service orientation
- Team player with an independent way of working
- Fluent in spoken and written Dutch and English (C1), German is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
