You are responsible for
Keeping the high-tech semicon process equipment in the Mems Foundry in optimal condition. You will be working on a broad range of high-tech equipment in one of our specialized technology clusters:
- Physical Vapor Deposition and Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition. Prime focus area
- Dry Etching (Plasma Etching). Strong interaction area.
- Lithography, Wet Etching / chemical processing and Wafer Bonding. Interaction area.
- Oxidation, Annealing and Atomic Layer Deposition
- Metrology. Interaction area.
As a Sr. Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for:
- The equipment up-time and creating / improving maintenance plans and procedures.
- Performing the planned and unplanned maintenance, including root cause analysis, maintenance planning, evaluation, documentation, and continuous improvements.
- Acting pro-actively on possible malfunction of equipment and ensuring that used spare parts and consumables are re-ordered.
- Staying in close contact with equipment owners and operations technicians before, during, and after maintenance for optimal planned and executed maintenance.
- Working in a safe way for the team, the equipment, and the environment.
- Joining crash teams for complicated machine/process failures and joining Kaizen improvement teams.
You are a part of:
The Sr. Maintenance engineer MEMS reports to the Manager Equipment & Maintenance Engineering in business unit MEMS & Micro devices within Philips Engineering Solutions. You will be part of the MEMS maintenance group, responsible for the availability and uptime of the process equipment used in the development and production processes of MEMS & Micro devices.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following:
- MBO+/HBO certified in a technical discipline relevant to the industry (electronics, mechatronics, physics, materials science, mechanics, chemical engineering) with at least 3 years of experience as maintenance engineer in a production environment.
- Experience with MEMS and/or semiconductor manufacturing is a strong pro.
- No 9-5 mentality. Willingness to work in evenings or weekends in case of an occasional emergency/urgency.
- Eager to learn the technical details of all equipment.
- Well skilled to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- (Basic) knowledge of (computer) control systems, PLC’s, networks.
- Willing to work in a clean-room environment.
- Willingness to work in two shifts in the future (a future possibility, no concrete plans to implement as of date).
