The UX Researcher at Nulab is a person who will help us to drive the future of our products. They will research user behavior and preference and optimize the best user experience. The person filling this role will ensure that our products are as straightforward and user-friendly as possible while working cross-functionally with our design teams to share input on prioritizing the right directions when planning for features and design decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients to assess their requirements, and establish pain points and behavior, to see which areas need researching, designing, or testing
- Understand stakeholder research needs and identify the right research methodologies to address them
- Fully execute research projects from initial kick-off to fielding/interviewing to sharing findings as the primary researcher
- Recruit and maintain lists of targeted research participants from internal and external sources
- Carry out UX Research artifacts including proposals, moderator’s guides, and result summaries
- Putting seamless user experience at the center of all tasks
- Work cross-functionally with Design, Support, and Marketing Teams by sharing presentations that evaluate qualitative and quantitative data that are tailored around experiences for all our digital users
- Identify unmet research opportunities that can add value and efficiently execute them
Requirements:
- Proven work experience of 3+ years in conducting formal research
- Degree in HCI, interaction design, cognitive psychology, social science, or a statistics-related field
- In-depth knowledge of statistics, data analysis, and qualitative and quantitative research techniques, like usability testing and surveys
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluency with personas and segmentation
- Experience using UX Research and usability test tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Mixpanel, Useberry)
