As the Jr. Project Buyer, you will assist the Strategic Project Buyer and play a crucial role in sourcing the hardware components that power our innovative heating solutions.

What You Will Do:
- Assist in initiating and guiding Requests for Quotation (RfQs) with hardware suppliers for specific projects, covering a wide array of components including mechanical and electronic parts, as well as PCBA's and their bill of materials.
- Support different procurement activities from RfQ to contract closure, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Help with supplier sourcing and selection processes based on factors like quality, cost, and geographic considerations.
- Serve as a point of contact to suppliers and contract manufacturers, aiding in the maintenance of strategic relationships and long-term partnerships.
- Assist in overseeing procurement activities throughout the product development process, ensuring timely delivery of prototypes and components.
- Contribute to identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities, driving efficiency and maximizing value.
- Support data-based decision-making and return on investment projections.
- Assist in assessing market conditions and risk factors, identifying opportunities for optimization and proactive mitigation.
- Handle administrative tasks related to procurement, including documentation, compliance, and reporting.
- Share responsibilities across multiple projects, while reporting directly to the Strategic Project Buyer for all sourcing activities.
- Support ERP implementation alongside the Strategic Project Buyer as supply chain stakeholders.
What You'll Need:
- 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably with a focus on hardware or industrial equipment in a product development environment.
- Basic understanding of technical requirements related to hardware procurement. Experience with PCBA’s from a procurement perspective is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise in contract negotiations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels effectively.
- Basic project management skills, ensuring smooth execution of procurement activities.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Chinese is highly desirable but not mandatory.
