Our Modality Sales Manager (MSM) MR drives the MR business in the Benelux by leading the sales team of MR in the Benelux and as well driving deals as a Modality Sales Specialist MR. The MSM manages a team of Sales Specialists and Clinical Application Specialists in both the Netherlands as in Belgium/Luxemburg. The MSM leads the sales of the MR related opportunities from lead until contract/order closure. The MSM is the subject matter expert in the MR domain and portfolio and will build (tailored) product, solutions and value propositions in addressing customer needs.
The MSM is challenged in building strong trust-based relationships with internal and external key opinion leaders and related stakeholders. The MSM enjoys being a team player of the Precision Diagnosis team and will closely work together with the Business Marketing Manager, Modality Sales Specialists from other modalities, Clinical Application Specialists, Clinical Scientists and the related team members of the sales organization like District Leaders, Key Account Managers and Service Account Managers.
Your role:
- Leading the sales team of MR in the Benelux. This team consists of Sales Specialists, Clinical Application Specialists and Clinical Scientist in both the Netherlands as in Belgium/Luxemburg.
- Achieving the business goals on Order Intake, Sales and Price realization for MR in the Benelux region.
- Developing and driving a trust-based relation with customers to maximize the value of the short & long-term business based on deep understanding of customer’s needs.
- The sales process of related MR portfolio from lead until order closure.
- Customer presentations, site visits and demos of the related portfolio.
- Maintaining excellent relationships with portfolio specific KOL’s and other relevant stakeholders.
- Building the customer quote and customer tender requirement documents (PvEs).
- Supporting business/cluster related campaigns, product and services introduction and end of life programs in market.
- Defining and executing the implementation of the business policy, pricing strategy and product mix to be sold in the region, according to established guidelines in the Business to Market Communication.
- Provide insights and input for the Business to Market Communication.
- Prepares and delivers accurate business forecasting on a monthly basis via accurate lead and opportunity management in Philips CRM system (Salesforce.com)
- Identifies opportunities for long term and/or performance based partnerships.
You're the right fit if:
- Clinical background in the Domain of MR.
- 10+ years’ experience in commercial roles in MedTech industry.
- Strong People Leader, with business savviness, a positive can-do attitude, a strategic thinker with strong executional skills and hands-on mentality who knows how to get things done in a matrix organization.
- Experience selling into accounts that are characterized by a complex sales cycle with multiple decision makers.
- Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in Dutch, both verbal and written is required.
