About the Role
FareHarbor is looking for a full time Site Reliability Engineer to join our infrastructure team in Amsterdam. We’re a quickly growing company with a robust product that tens of thousands of people rely on to run their businesses every day. With our rapid growth, we face interesting engineering challenges that are critical to keeping the tours and activities industry running.
What you’ll do here:
- Manage, improve and monitor our various clusters and services on AWS
- Identify and reduce toil with automation
- Build our observability platform using OpenTelemetry
- Create and refine SLOs, and prioritize incident response using error budgets
- Debug production issues at the hardware, software, or network level, and identify root cause
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Linux/Unix (Bash/Zsh) environment, server administration, cloud/online service operations, and production codebase
- Hands on experience with cloud infrastructure management and provisioning like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
- Experience with Container Orchestration such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, AWS EKS
- Experience with observability and familiarity with OpenTelemetry
