What you’ll be doing as Senior Backend Developer at Vi

We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer who can truly elevate our software solutions. From making the right strategic choices to writing killer code, You'll be the technical backbone behind complex financial platforms. In addition to developing high-impact projects for major clients like ING and BNP Paribas, you'll also mentor our growing team of junior developers, shaping both our technical capabilities and our next generation of talent.

Here's what that looks like in practice:

• You write clean and testable C# code for FinTech web apps and software, processing complex calculations and data from multiple sources. You work closely with experienced developers on projects for clients like ING and RTL-Z.

• You work together with a multidisciplinary scrum team towards a shared goal: delivering high-quality reporting and management information systems.

• You love to learn and develop yourself as well. Through mentoring junior developers, joining international conferences, or simply catching up during our FIFA lunches.

• You are experienced with our tech stack, consisting of C# and .NET and are comfortable working in an Agile environment.

Project examples?

A trading game for RTL-Z to practice investment skills, the platform for ING Sprinters, or the web platform for VanEck ETFs. Also check out our first product, Alloq. And much more, that we're eager to share with you!

• You have 5+ years of work experience and are experienced in our tech stack. C# & .NET

• You continuously seek to improve your code. For example, by applying TDD/BDD, and DDD.

• You're comfortable engaging with external stakeholders and breaking down technical concepts into straightforward, non-technical language.

• You enjoy sharing knowledge, which may include writing articles or giving presentations, but also mentoring junior colleagues.

• You value social cohesion in the office as well as working from home. The idea of attending a team lunch, drinks, gaming sessions, or a VI activity sounds fun to you.
