As a driven and results-oriented Plan & Deliver Project Manager, you play a crucial role in realizing progress within FrieslandCampina Ingredients. You are the leader in defining, preparing, leading, and executing challenging programs and projects within the Plan & Deliver (P&D) functions. You always do this in line with the established objectives, scope, planning, and budget. Furthermore, you inspire other project leaders within the P&D organization with your expertise and provide them with the necessary project support.
ResponsibilitiesProject Plan: Make an immediate impact by formulating a complete project plan, including resourcing, planning, risk mitigation, quality control, and organizational requirements. You determine the budget and ensure approval, appropriate to the project objectives.
Project Execution & Monitoring: Take the lead and coordinate the activities of your project team members. You monitor the progress of the project, ensure compliance with the project plan, manage project risks and resources, and create risk awareness among stakeholders. You realize progress by managing stage-gates and adjusting the plan where necessary.
Project Completion & Implementation: Deliver visible success by completing the project within the established objectives, budget, and planning. You discuss the results with the business, hand over the project to line management when essential, and evaluate the collaboration with all involved stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong connections by creating support for the complete project approach (objectives, planning, etc.). You periodically inform and consult relevant stakeholders, manage their expectations during execution, involve them in decision-making, and maintain a professional network.
Management Information: Ensure clarity by providing periodic, quantitative, and qualitative project management reports, in accordance with the defined formats and project management guidelines.
Knowledge Management & Sharing: Enrich the community by staying informed of relevant project management methods and techniques, and optimize their implementation and support within FrieslandCampina.
Team/People Management: Enable your team to excel by functionally leading, coaching, and developing the members of your project team, and provide valuable input for their appraisal.
You will become a valued team member of the Plan & Deliver (P&D) team of FrieslandCampina Ingredients (FCI), located in Amersfoort. You report directly to the P&D Director. The P&D team consists of 8 professional and enthusiastic colleagues (average age 30-35 years) and is a very action- and results-oriented team. Qualifications- Demonstrable experience (6-9 years) in project management.
- Proven knowledge and experience in at least two of the three areas:
- Plan (S&OP, inventory optimization)
- Deliver (order fulfillment, export documentation, transport management, warehousing)
- Project Management.
- Experience in the food industry (Dairy, processing is a strong plus) or in B2B Ingredients.
- Fluent in the English language.
