As a Sales Engineer at NTS Hengelo, you are the right hand of the account manager or the left, if that feels better ;). You are the one who turns a (sometimes still unclear) customer question into a crystal-clear quote. As soon as a lead comes in, you take the lead: from A to Z, you take ownership, arrange internal coordination, and ensure that the customer gets exactly what he needs, and sometimes even what he didn't know he needed. You not only understand the customer's problem, you live it. You take them on the journey from idea to solution, with technical precision and a smile. Meanwhile, you effortlessly keep an eye on revenue forecasts, prices, margins, and payments, because someone has to keep track.
You are the internal confidant of the field service, the silent force behind the scenes (or the loud hero, if that's more your style). And of course, you have no problem occasionally visiting the customer yourself. In fact, you enjoy seeing where your solutions ultimately come to life. In short: you are that rare combination of technical insight, commercial sense, and a healthy dose of humor.
Furthermore, your tasks include:- Coordinating requests from large, complex, and new customers/orders;
- Compiling, checking, and monitoring quotes and customer documentation;
- Providing revenue forecasts and identifying deviations in the supply chain;
- Checking and processing orders and customer KPIs (such as QLTC performance);
- Monitoring prices, margins, and sales processes and identifying deviations.
- MBO+/HBO level of education with a commercial or administrative background;
- Experience in a similar commercial inside sales or sales support role;
- Affinity with technology and/or the high-tech manufacturing industry;
- Customer-oriented, communicative, and result-oriented;
- Good command of the Dutch and English language.
