A bit about the role...

As a Business Development Consultant for the Netherlands, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth and expansion in this dynamic market. Your focus will be on acquiring new customers, building strategic partnerships and driving adoption of Bumper’s payment solutions across dealer groups and OEMs.

We are looking for someone based in the Netherlands, based from home, with regular travel required.

Key responsibilities:
  • Market Analysis & Strategy

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Netherlands.

    • Develop and refine market entry and expansion strategies in collaboration with the Head of International Sales.

    • Stay informed on regulatory changes and industry developments.

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation

    • Identify and engage potential clients through networking, events, and digital channels.

    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads and opportunities.

    • Qualify prospects and prioritise high-potential opportunities.

  • Relationship Management

    • Develop long-term relationships with clients and partners to drive retention and upsell opportunities.

    • Record all activities in Bumper’s CRM (HubSpot) and maintain accurate territory plans.

    • Conduct face‑to‑face and remote account reviews with customers.

  • Collaboration & Cross‑functional Support

    • Work closely with Customer Operations to ensure seamless onboarding.

    • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Now a bit about you…
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or consulting within fintech or financial services.

  • Strong understanding of payment solutions and digital banking (desirable).

  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and influence decision‑makers.

  • Extensive motor trade experience and strong dealership network (preferred).

  • Fluent in Dutch and English.

  • Highly self‑motivated and target‑driven.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Full and clean Dutch driving licence.
