In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Sales organization and customers throughout the quotation process. We’re looking for a driven Shore Power Tender Specialist (Energy Infra) with civil engineering expertise who can help us win and deliver key shore power projects.
Your impact:As a Shore Power Tender Specialist (Energy Infra), you translate customer requirements and technical specifications into sharp and feasible proposals. You play a key role in the tendering process for complex shore connection solutions where electrical engineering, civil infrastructure, and maritime applications converge.
You’ll work closely with sales, engineering, and project management to compile complete proposals. This includes substations, underground connections, cable routes, and integration with existing port infrastructure. Additionally, you provide input to R&D based on customer interactions and market insights, helping bring new solutions successfully to market.
Your responsibilities:- Support the local Shore Power Sales team and customers in identifying technically sound and cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals based on customer requirements and internal input.
- Analyze customer needs and competitor offerings using market data.
- Determine cost pricing and communicate this to Sales.
- Translate sales needs and customer feedback into R&D input.
- Lead go-to-market activities for new shore power solutions.
- Create technical documentation and tools to support the sales process.
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with tendering processes within civil infrastructure, energy technology, or port projects.
- Affinity with electrical systems, preferably in maritime or industrial applications.
- An analytical mindset, commercial insight, and the ability to turn complex customer needs into a convincing action plan.
- Experience with multidisciplinary collaboration and managing input from both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Strong command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
