SAP IS-U Techno-Functional Consultant (ID:3423)

As a SAP IS-U Techno-Functional Consultant, you will:

• Analyze, document, and translate business requirements for utility processes including Billing, Invoicing, Device Management, and Customer Service into detailed functional specifications
• Design, configure, and implement SAP IS-U solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and business objectives
• Provide functional expertise in SAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing and SAP FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable)
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to design and enhance custom workflows, ABAP developments (non-HANA), OData services, and system interfaces
• Support integrations between SAP IS-U and external systems such as CRM and Salesforce
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive functional documentation, including process flows, configuration documents, functional specifications, and user manuals
• Support and coordinate data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness
• Provide functional support during go-live and post-implementation phases, including issue resolution and end-user training
• Recommend and contribute to improvements in SAP IS-U architecture, scalability, and operational efficiency

What You Bring to the Table:

• 10+ years of overall experience in SAP implementations within the Utilities industry
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP IS-U, particularly Billing & Invoicing and FI-CA
• Proven expertise as a Techno-Functional Consultant, with solid understanding of ABAP (non-HANA)
• Extensive experience in functional analysis, process mapping, solution design, and SAP configuration
• Strong background in SAP testing methodologies, including functional, integration, and UAT testing
• Experience working on system integrations involving SAP IS-U and external platforms

You Should Possess the Ability to:

• Bridge complex business requirements with scalable and efficient SAP IS-U solutions
• Lead functional discussions and workshops with senior business and IT stakeholders
• Translate utility business processes into clear functional and technical specifications
• Ensure high-quality system delivery through structured testing and defect management
• Identify system gaps and recommend architectural and process improvements
