The Opportunity:Purpose:
This role exists to drive global, end‑to‑end operational efficiencies and maximize the value Teva gains from sourced materials and services through strategic financial leadership. It plays a pivotal part in clarifying the value chain from procurement through to delivery, ensuring optimal performance and cost‑effectiveness across Teva’s global operations.
Role Overview:
As VP Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain, you will lead a high‑performing team responsible for developing and executing financial performance measures and forecasts that shape decision‑making across the network. You will champion key system and process enhancements, ensuring the organization has the insights and tools needed to operate with excellence.
In this highly collaborative role, you will partner closely with leaders across Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain to guide operational improvements that strengthen company gross margin and enhance net working capital. You will also serve as a member of the Teva Global Operations Finance Leadership Team, contributing to strategic direction and financial leadership at a global level.
Our ideal location for this role would be in Europe (Netherlands), however, we will also consider candidates in the U.S. (Parsippany, NJ)
Key Responsibilities:- Establish analytical processes for vendor materials and services to enhance sourcing and negotiation.
- Develop tools to track total cost of ownership and improve financial and procurement decisions.
- Increase transparency in inventory, savings, and logistics, and create frameworks for efficient goods movement using advanced analytics and AI tools.
- Identify and promote end‑to‑end network opportunity improvements to raise operational performance and efficiencies.
- Drive and influence stakeholders across regions and functions in making company‑focused decisions.
- Lead development of annual and long‑term plans using advanced analytics and scenario modeling in line with company goals.
- Guide and develop team members for high performance and change management.
- Lead the digital transformation of procurement and supply chain finance, including the adoption of advanced analytics, automation, and AI‑driven decision support tools to optimize spend, working capital, and operational agility.
- Oversee global headcount and resource allocation for procurement and supply chain finance, ensuring alignment with transformation initiatives and organizational effectiveness targets (e.g., GBS penetration, team structure optimization).
- Partner with IT and business transformation teams to implement and continuously improve digital platforms (e.g., IBP) for real‑time supply‑demand alignment and scenario planning.
- Mentor and develop a diverse, global team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement, and ensuring robust succession planning for key roles.
10+ years of finance experience
- Strong background in procurement and supply chain analytics at a Global Fortune 500 company recognized for industry‑leading capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including experience leading teams and influencing stakeholders across global organizations.
- Pharmaceutical Industry experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. MBA, preferred.
