The HR Manager is a strategic advisor to business leaders and a key enabler of organizational performance. In addition to implementing the Global HR strategy, talent development, and change initiatives, this role also oversees the Office Assistant to ensure smooth daily operations, a positive workplace environment, and efficient administrative support across the organization. The HR Manager combines strong people leadership with operational excellence to support both employees and business objectives.
Operating across the Netherlands, Belgium, the Nordics, and Germany, the HR Manager’s main mission is to collaborate closely with leadership teams and managers, providing insights, data-driven recommendations, and proactive HR solutions that enable the company to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning global HR strategies with business goals.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent risks.
- Support leaders in building high-performing, engaged teams.
2. Talent Management & Development
- Lead Performance process in the area, talent management and workforce planning.
- Partner with managers to identify development needs and implement training programs, aligned with Group HR.
- Support leadership development, coaching, and performance improvement initiatives.
3. Employee Relations & Culture
- Guide managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management and terminations.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen company culture, collaboration, and employee well-being.
- Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across the organization.
4. Office Management Oversight
- Lead and support the Office Assistant, ensuring effective coordination of workplace operations.
- Oversee office facilities, workspace planning, supplies and equipment, together with the Head of Office.
- Ensure workplace standards, safety protocols, and administrative processes are efficient and well-implemented.
- Partner with Leaders and Head of Office to create a welcoming, productive, and compliant work environment.
- Align office operations with business needs, including supporting hybrid work models and events.
5. Change Management & Organizational Development
- Lead and support change initiatives, ensuring clear communication and adoption.
- Analyze HR and employee experience metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to organizational development, aligned with Group HR: Structure, roles, and capability-building.
- Lead and develop the team in charge to guarantee full performance and capability building.
6. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Group HR to deliver integrated HR solutions and drive the Global HR Agenda.
- Develop, implement, and review Health & Safety policies and procedures in line with legal requirements, serving as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies and external safety consultants.
7. Others
- Lead, support, and develop the HR team to ensure effective, high-quality delivery of HR services.
- Collaborate with Group HR to design, develop, and implement new strategic projects worldwide.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Fluent in English and Dutch, both oral and written. Being able to communicate in German is a plus

Minimum of 4/5 years' experience in a similar position, leading small teams. Alternatively 4/5 years' experience as HR Business Partner in big multinational, preferably FMCG.

Experience supervising administrative or office management staff is strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and organizational development.

Demonstrates a strong willingness to stay current with HR trends and continuously update knowledge of evolving legal requirements.
