ABOUT YOU
As our Housekeeping Manager, you play a key role in shaping the Bunk experience. Together with other departments, you help create the welcoming atmosphere our guests feel the moment they walk in. So you don’t focus on just the rooms, but the whole building, inside and out. You take pride in walking through the property every day, noticing every detail that contributes to a warm welcome for our guests: the atmosphere, the setup, the cleanliness, and the overall feel of the space. This gives you energy, and you take real ownership of it.
You lead by doing. You’re present with your team on the floor every day, guiding, coaching, and jumping in whenever needed. Not because it’s busy, but because teamwork is simply how Bunk works. And at Bunk, we help each other across departments too; you support other teams, and they support you, all with one shared goal: delivering the best guest experience.
The devil is in the details, and you are someone who has an expert eye for them. You spot the dusty corner, the misplaced cushion, the pod that needs attention. You get things done, and with your motivation and guidance, you and your team ensure that everything is clean and ready when check-in time comes around. Spiderman has got nothing on you, either– you’re not afraid of challenges or heights and you can climb the small ladder to our pods without breaking a sweat. While you might be a neat freak, you’re even more of a people person, and love some quick chats with guests that you meet in the halls throughout the day.
At the same time, you never lose sight of the bigger picture. You keep things running smoothly by keeping a close eye on costs and finding smart ways to work efficiently without ever cutting corners on quality. You stay tuned in to guest reviews and how your team is performing, using both to spot opportunities for growth. And you are constantly looking for ways to level up our housekeeping standards, elevate how guests experience our spaces, and improve overall results.

ABOUT BUNK AMSTERDAM
We’ve converted Amsterdam Noord’s historical Sint Ritakerk into a buzzing hub for people from near and far alike. On a typical day, our restaurant (and terrace, in the summer) is filled with diners enjoying dishes featuring fresh seasonal produce prepared using traditional methods: smoked, pickled, marinated and stewed. Meanwhile, backpackers will be catching some good sleep on a budget in our pods, culture vultures capitalising on our free events, podcasters and producers recording the next big thing and curious travelers wandering through our halls, heading out on adventures before making their way back to their rooms.
