Senior Engineer Structural

As a Project Engineer, you'll lead a dedicated team to drive the engineering scope for high-end yacht projects, ensuring top-tier quality, precision, and efficiency. You'll be responsible for scope, planning, and budget management, overseeing every stage of design, from the basic principles to the final 3D models and drawings. Your role is to ensure compliance with all technical standards, resolve complex challenges, and integrate the work of various disciplines to keep projects on track.

Your technical expertise will guide your team in achieving manufacturability, feasibility, and regulatory compliance, while continuously improving quality standards and innovation within the department. As a mentor, you'll support colleagues' development and oversee the quality of all project deliverables.
You'll collaborate closely with the Project Manager, clients, and stakeholders to align objectives, tackle technical bottlenecks, and ensure timely, high-quality project execution.

• HBO working and thinking level.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Senior engineer in this discipline or 3 years as a Project Engineer in a similar organization.
• Experience at managing a team of (Jr,Sr) Engineers
• Good verbal and written expression skills in the English language.
• Broad technical insight within his discipline in relation to yacht building. Knowledge of production techniques and experience with manufacturability of parts to be engineered.
• Relevant software knowledge (MS Office AutoCad, NX, Team Centre, Cadmatic).
• Knowledge of guidelines and procedures (regulations of classification societies and flag states, safety, quality and environment).
• Preferably strong basic engineering background in structural engineering in yacht building.
