You'll be in daily contact with suppliers from China, tracking shipments and proactively updating customers. As a customer service representative, you act as the essential link between logistics operations and customer communication. From the office, you ensure that all transport processes run smoothly and that every customer knows exactly where their shipment is. Communication is key in this role: you effortlessly switch between English and Chinese, and work closely with the internal operations team.
Responsibilities
- Communicate daily with suppliers based in China
- Keep customers informed about the status of their shipments
- Process transport data and update logistics dashboards
- Coordinate planning with the operations team
- Identify delivery issues and take appropriate action
- Liaise with carriers and follow up on shipments
- Contribute to process improvement and customer satisfaction
- Handle incoming customer queries via email and phone
- Maintain accurate documentation and administration
- Fluent in both Chinese and English, spoken and written
- Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in logistics or e-commerce
- Detail-oriented and able to stay calm during peak periods
- Available to work weekdays from 08:00 to 17:00 (no weekends)
- Proficient in computer systems (Office suite, CRM tools)
- A proactive mindset and a sense of ownership
- Living near the job location or willing to commute
- A gross monthly salary between €2700 and €3000 (full-time)
