Senior Business Analyst (ID:3374)

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

• Gather, analyze, and define business and functional requirements for European payment schemes including SEPA, SEPA Instant (SCT Inst), TARGET2, TIPS, RT1, and SWIFT.
• Support ISO 20022 CBPR+ migration, including analysis of SWIFT MT to MX message flows.
• Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes, identify gaps, and recommend optimized payment processes.
• Ensure regulatory and scheme compliance with PSD2 / PSD3, SCA, SEPA rulebooks, AML, and KYC requirements.
• Support payment hub modernization initiatives, including API integrations and platform upgrades.
• Work closely with business, IT, and vendor teams within Agile / Scrum environments.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production readiness activities related to payments implementations.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 8–10 years of overall experience as a Business Analyst, with strong focus on Retail and European Payments.
• In-depth knowledge of SEPA, Instant Payments, TARGET2, TIPS, RT1, and SWIFT ecosystems.
• Strong experience supporting ISO 20022 (MT/MX) and CBPR+ migration programs.
• Hands-on experience with Open Banking, Instant Payments and Payments Hub architectures.
• Solid understanding of clearing and settlement mechanisms.
• Strong experience in BPMN-based process modelling.
• Proven experience working in Agile delivery models, using Jira and Confluence.
• Exposure to BaNCS Retail Payments System is an advantage.

You Should Possess the Ability to:

• Translate complex regulatory and payment scheme requirements into clear functional specifications.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts across payment flows and systems.
• Support large-scale transformation initiatives such as payment hub modernization.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced payments environment.
