One of our trusted international partners is seeking a Senior Manager FP&A - Commercial Programs & Excellence to join their dynamic Finance team in Amsterdam. This is a unique opportunity to lead a newly formed team that drives cross-unit commercial insights, forecasting innovation, and decision‑making excellence across the organization.
In this role, you will combine financial planning expertise with business operations leadership, ensuring robust reporting, scalable processes, and strategic insights that enable informed decisions at the highest level. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, lead transformation initiatives, and contribute to shaping the future of FP&A within a global organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis- Lead forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting for commercial programs.
- Deliver actionable insights based on data to support strategic decision‑making.
- Drive improvements in reporting processes to meet evolving business needs.
- Oversee cross-functional decision governance, including ROI frameworks and revenue model business cases.
- Advance modeling and forecasting capabilities, leveraging data and AI for scalability.
- Own processes for commercial board meetings and high‑level trading reviews.
- Manage and grow the Commercial Programs & Excellence team.
- Partner with Directors, VPs, and senior stakeholders to align on priorities and deliver impact.
- Contribute to transformation and innovation initiatives across FP&A.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in FP&A, business operations, or strategic finance roles.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience with SQL, data mining, and reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau a plus).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance big‑picture thinking with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
- Background in transformation projects or process optimization.
- Familiarity with AI-driven forecasting and advanced BI tools.
- Experience in managing change programs within finance organizations.
