About the RoleThe Financial Controller will manage financial planning and analysis for a major research and innovation centre. This role involves overseeing P&L closing, CAPEX governance, cash flow management, and business partnering with HR and site teams. You will work closely with international finance teams and contribute to global transversal projects.
Responsibilities- Manage monthly closing activities including P&L, accruals, and reclasses.
- Coordinate RF submissions for P&L, Balance Sheet, Net Debt Variation, Overheads, CAPEX, and Tax.
- Oversee financial flows within holding entities and contractual charges.
- Manage Free Cash Flow and Balance Sheet for the entity.
- Handle CAPEX governance and cash-out management for the site and global supply network.
- Prepare presentations for site CODI and ensure CAPEX compliance.
- Support tax-related topics such as Nexus calculation.
- Act as a business partner for HR and site teams.
- Perform internal control activities and external statistical reporting.
- Collaborate with auditors and external accountants.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in SAP; Power BI preferred.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently under pressure.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with attention to detail and strategic vision.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
