To help us reach that goal, we’re hiring a Regional Lead to join our growing Supply team, based in Amsterdam. As a regional lead you have to manage a number of hubs and lead a team of 2-3 direct reports. Overall, you are responsible for leading your team to achieve your goals and improve your region's performance.
What you will do as a Regional Lead @Transferz: Run your hubs like a business- Own the performance of your assigned hubs (Tier 1 & 2).
- Leverage PowerBI, DevRev, and internal back‑office systems to gather data, track performance, and guide my team in implementing effective solutions. By doing so ensure that both the team and the hubs operate efficiently and effectively at all times.
- Work with our Operational Intelligence team to spot issues early, like fulfilment dips or rising cancellations.
- Turn insights into action: run experiments, fix inefficiencies, and track what’s working.
- Stay ahead of local events and demand spikes.
- Act fast when things go off track.
- Work closely with other departments; Customer Service and the commercial teams, to ensure smooth operations across all hubs.
- Build solid supplier relationships, making sure availability, pricing, and quality stay sharp.
- Make the call when SLAs aren’t met and escalate when needed.
- Develop the team and ensure they have the tools and support they need to excel in their roles.
- Work closely with your team to share insights, cover each other, and improve the way of working together.
- Ensure that the team has robust processes in place to measure and improve quality, and help DMs anticipate and address potential volume disruptors or local events that may impact demand and quality.
- Guide the team in analyzing performance metrics using PowerBI, tracking key indicators like ride volume, cancellations, and customer feedback.
- Meet regularly with the team and Suppliers they manage, to review performance, share insights, and plan strategies.
- Together, work on short-, mid-, and long‑term goals to elevate service quality and expand capacity.
- Identify ways for the team and the hubs to grow. Mentor DMs in expanding capacity, onboarding larger Suppliers, and executing strategies to meet growing demand.
- Work with Supply Agents in order to prioritize work and efficiently manage Tier 3 hubs.
