For my client, a global organization (150,000 global headcount) headquartered for Europe in Amsterdam, I am looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Senior Manager to lead strategic and operational recruitment initiatives within the North West Europe region (5,000 headcount, divided over 6 countries).
This role has been created as the organization is in the midst of an exciting transformation, redefining its operating model and talent strategy. You will play a key role in shaping recruitment during this pivotal phase of change.
What You Will DoAs Talent Acquisition Senior Manager, you will act as both a strategic advisor and operational lead, managing a small team of TA partners and ensuring alignment with business goals. You will design and execute regional hiring strategies, optimize processes, and activate employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement regional talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives and workforce forecasts.
- Act as a trusted partner to clinic leaders and senior stakeholders, advising on talent needs and market trends.
- Lead and coach a small TA team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Partner with operations and finance to align hiring plans with growth projections.
- Use data and analytics to drive decisions on sourcing channels, pipeline health, and recruitment KPIs.
- Manage complex and senior-level requisitions while overseeing 10-25 open roles simultaneously.
- Build early talent pipelines through partnerships with universities and veterinary schools.
- Represent the organization at industry events and job fairs to enhance brand visibility.
- Activate and promote the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) in collaboration with marketing.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, GDPR, and labour laws, while monitoring recruitment spend.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field; certifications in TA or HR are a plus.
- 5-7 years of full-cycle recruitment experience of which min. 3 years as TA Manager with an international scope.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring small recruitment teams.
- Strong expertise in sourcing, pipeline building, and engaging passive candidates.
- Proficiency in ATS systems (e.g., Workday), sourcing platforms (LinkedIn), and recruitment analytics tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to balance operational volume with strategic planning in a fast-paced environment.
