You’ll take a lead role in coordinating, coaching, and guiding a team of engineers and designers, while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role combines team leadership, project management, and technical oversight to drive successful project delivery and continuous improvement.
Vacancy informationYou’ll be responsible for monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining budget and timeline expectations. Your input will also be essential in recruitment processes, staff evaluations, and development planning. In addition, you'll act as a technical authority in mono- and multi-disciplinary projects, coordinating engineering work, providing direction on design activities, and performing risk analyses during proposal and design phases.
Your leadership will help strengthen collaboration across multiple locations, improve work methodologies, and promote a culture of knowledge-sharing, quality, and safety awareness. You’ll also liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring project deliverables are met and relationships are well-managed.

What do you need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline, with additional training in organizational management
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar leadership or technical project role
- Strong command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
- Proven experience with engineering codes such as ASME and EN
- Proficient in tools such as E3D, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Plant 3D
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing teams of 1–10 people and projects involving 5–10 team members
- Experience coordinating up to 5 projects simultaneously
- Certification in VCA Safety for Operational Supervisors
- Strong interpersonal skills: communicates clearly, acts with integrity, customer-focused, result-oriented, and collaborative
- Able to coach and mentor team members, support career development, and foster a safe working environment
- Skilled in planning, decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiating with stakeholders
