Our client is a leading specialist in the Data Centre market. Their reputation in the current market is industry leading, with opportunities to work across Central Europe (Netherlands, France and many more!). The company is growing year-on-year with forecasts to triple their revenue in the next three years. The suitable candidate can come from a CSA lead, Site Manager/Supervisor or Construction Manager background.
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of a large-scale data centre project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, particularly within the data centre or mission-critical environment. You will be responsible for managing on-site activities, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem‑solving, and a deep understanding of the construction process.
Key Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and supervise site personnel, including subcontractors, to achieve project objectives.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, budget, and any issues that may arise.
- Documentation: Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accurate, including progress reports, schedules, and safety records.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Site Management role, with a focus on data centre or mission-critical projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS) are highly desirable.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in construction management software and a solid understanding of data centre infrastructure.
