Engineering Program Manager

NES Fircroft is supporting a global leader in the life sciences industry with the search for a Project Operations Manager to join their team. This role is focused on overseeing the operational aspects of ongoing projects, acting as a key liaison between project management, planning teams, and line management.

• Lead the development and implementation of products and services across departmental or cross-functional teams.
• Monitor project progress from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals.
• Review project status, budgets, and prepare regular reports.
• Identify and resolve project issues, applying structured problem-solving approaches.
• Develop mechanisms for tracking progress and facilitating intervention when needed.

• Operates with a high level of autonomy, receiving assignments in task- and objective-oriented terms.
• Influences operational planning and policy implementation, with decisions impacting schedules, resource allocation, and customer satisfaction.
• May hold budget or P&L accountability for a department or function.

• Proven experience in managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• University degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of prior relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and consistency in deliverables.
