Overview

As we accelerate toward our next phase of growth with the AI wave, we're looking for a bold, data-driven, and customer-obsessed Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to lead our global commercial engine and unlock the next wave of revenue growth.

This CGO role is arguably one of the most strategic commercial leadership opportunities in European B2B SaaS today: at the forefront of AI-driven hiring, recurring platform revenue, and embedded distribution. It’s rare to find a company with a proven product, strategic partnerships, deep ecosystem integrations, and a performance-based model ready to scale. The right CGO won’t just grow revenue, but will help define a category.

You’ll lead our go-to-market strategy across Direct Sales, Indirect Channels, Strategic Partnerships, Customer Experience, and Marketing, while working hand-in-hand with Product and the CEO to evolve VONQ into a truly platform-led, performance-based growth company.

What You’ll Own
  • Strategic Direction & Execution: Define and execute a unified commercial strategy across all revenue streams: Direct Sales, Indirect (Hiring API) sales, Enterprise Accounts, and Partner GTM. [VONQ maintains direct and indirect sales channels and needs a unified commercial strategy to optimize these efforts with strong GTM execution to launch new products.]
  • Ensure VONQ’s core value proposition of outcome-based candidate delivery remains front and centre across all sales and marketing efforts — embedding it consistently across our product portfolio, including Job Marketing, CPA+, HAPI, and AI Agents.
  • Partner and align with Product and own Marketing strategy on all demand generation levers such as go-to-market planning, pricing models, positioning, and monetization of emerging AI features.
Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive revenue strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • GTM Leadership: Oversee the development and execution of go-to-market plans, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
  • Sales Management: Lead and mentor a team of 40 sales professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture and achieving sales targets.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to drive demand generation, brand awareness, and lead nurturing initiatives.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics to monitor performance metrics, forecast revenue, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Cross‑Functional Alignment: Collaborate with product, finance, and operations teams to ensure cohesive execution of company strategies.
You’ll Be Reporting To

Ritu Mohanka, CEO of VONQ. You’ll be a key member of the executive leadership team and a sparring partner across product, marketing, finance, and investor stakeholders.

QualificationsYour Profile
  • 5+ years of senior commercial leadership experience with a strong track record of driving growth in B2B SaaS businesses across multiple markets.
  • Proven ability to build and scale high-performing sales and customer success teams, develop successful channel and partner strategies, and lead enterprise-level deal cycles.
  • Hands-on experience with Sales Operations and sales enablement best practices, including pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking, ideally with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Skilled in designing and executing go-to-market strategies that align sales, marketing, and product efforts, with an eye on operational efficiency and repeatable playbooks.
  • Familiarity with the recruitment technology space (ATS, programmatic advertising, etc.) is a strong plus - especially if you bring an existing network in HRTech, WorkTech, or Talent Acquisition.
  • Experience in a private equity–backed or fast-scaling environment is a bonus, particularly if you’ve worked at the intersection of commercial growth and operational discipline.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch and/or German is a plus.
