Our IT Services - Development & Test team currently consists of 16 members (including a Team Lead, a Business Analyst, a Product Owner, Developers, Testers, and Administrators). Together, we build .NET applications that support the processes of our PwC employees.
Tasks and responsibilities
As a Senior Business Analyst, you take ownership of the entire business analysis process. You lead workshops and stakeholder sessions to uncover business needs, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities for innovation. You are responsible for delivering precise, complete, and testable requirements that enable development teams to build effective and user?'friendly solutions.
You manage requirements throughout the lifecycle of a project, ensuring traceability, consistency, and alignment with business goals. You support the Product Owner in backlog management and sprint planning, and you take the lead in preparing and facilitating refinement sessions, ensuring that stories are well?'defined and ready for development.
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and own business analysis plans aligned with strategic project objectives.
- Lead workshops and refinement sessions to gather insights and define solution scope.
- Translate complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories, use cases, and functional designs.
- Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability and alignment with business goals.
- Support the Product Owner with backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and roadmap discussions.
- Create process flows, visualizations, and application designs to support decision?'making and development.
- Collaborate with Agile teams and stakeholders, driving process improvements and mentoring junior analysts.
Who are we looking for?
You are a communicative and analytical professional who thrives in a collaborative and fast?'paced environment. You enjoy working with both business and technical stakeholders and are passionate about translating complex ideas into practical solutions.
You recognize yourself in (most) of the following:
- Proven experience as a business analyst in complex IT environments, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Strong Agile mindset and hands?'on experience with Scrum practices and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Skilled in facilitating workshops and stakeholder sessions, including at senior leadership level.
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to balance competing priorities effectively.
- Deep expertise in BPM, requirements engineering, user stories, use cases, functional design, or BABOK.
- Proactive and structured approach, with a passion for mentoring and contributing to team development.
Nice to have
- Experience with process modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML).
- Experience with Figma or similar tools for creating application designs and wireframes.
