HEAD OF SALES NETHERLANDS
POSITIONBel Benelux is looking for a bold and visionary Head of Sales Netherlands to drive growth and transformation in the Dutch market. Reporting directly to the General Manager Benelux, Jean-David Thumelaire, and as a key member of the Benelux Management Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Bel’s commercial strategy and execution in the Netherlands. Our ambition is to double the size of our Dutch business within the next five years and become the champion of Healthy Snacking. To achieve this, we are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial leader who can drive profitable growth across existing channels such as Retail and OOH, while identifying and developing new routes to market.
You will lead a team of six people, including the Sales Manager Retail and team, the Key Account Manager OOH, and the Category Manager. You will foster collaboration, challenge conventions, and ensure Bel Netherlands continues to grow as a dynamic, innovative, and consumer-driven business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach and inspire a team of 6 commercial professionals (Retail, OOH and Category Management);
- Define and execute the sales strategy for the Dutch market, driving both top-line and bottom-line growth;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, ensuring mutual growth and trust;
- Identify new business opportunities and develop new channels and segments for Bel’s brands;
- Partner closely with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure flawless execution of plans;
- Represent Sales Netherlands within the Benelux Leadership Team and contribute to overall strategic decision-making;
- Lead transformation initiatives and drive a culture of accountability, agility, and collaboration;
- Foster the Bel values of Dare, Care, and Commit in everything you and your team do.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Academic degree (Bachelor or Master);
- 15+ years of experience within FMCG Retail in the Netherlands;
- Strong network within Dutch Retail;
- Experience in Out of Home (OOH) is considered a plus;
- Proven track record of leading teams and achieving commercial success in dynamic, competitive markets;
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
