About us
Radisson Hotel & Suites Amsterdam South has 227 suites and rooms and opened in April 2021. We want to appeal to both transient and longer-staying travelers visiting the Dutch capital. Each of the studio’s, one-bed and two-bed apartments has its own fully equipped kitchen. It is up to us to make our guests feel at home with our family of associates! All rooms are suites with more living and working space than you would find in an any other hotel room.
What we ask of you!
- EU-national;
- Experience in a similar role for 2-5 years
- A valid residence and working permit for the Netherlands is required;
- English speaking: Dutch is not mandatory;
- Enthusiasm and a true team player;
- Strong eye for detail;
- Strong communication skills;
- Willing to work different shifts, including weekends & holidays;
- Provides Yes, I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis;
- Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% guest satisfaction;
- Participate in monthly HOD meeting and attend morning meetings;
- Organize monthly departmental meetings;
- Perform mid-year and end-of-year appraisals with your team.

What will you do?
As an Housekeeping Manager you are responsible for the cleanliness of our beautiful hotel. You manage and divide the work and tasks to the housekeeping team based on the forecast of the hotel and make sure your team is having fun while working efficient! You will support and manage the housekeeping supervisors. You manage the team from a people’s perspective to make sure that the team is performing at its best. At the end of every week, you check your team’s efficiency and make sure the time registration is done. You check the inventory of amenities and cleaning products and take care of the orders, while keeping an eye on the housekeeping budget and controlling the costs. Part of your responsibilities is keeping a close eye on our Brand Standards to ensure that we are always compliant. You strive for the best possible guest experience and check the rooms to make sure that all quality standards are exceeded. During the day you are in close contact with the other departments as well such as the guest service mangers and the maintenance manager because you believe that teamwork makes the dream work and helps you achieve quality targets
