Sales & Marketing Director required to lead, manage, and execute the day-to-day commercial activities of a growing Quantum Computing company. You’ll take ownership of their sales, business development, and marketing functions, ensuring smooth operations, clear coordination, and strong performance across the funnel.
Working closely with the VP Business Development who sets the strategic direction, you’ll be the driving force behind execution, turning plans into action and delivering measurable results. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll manage a team, optimise processes, and make sure the commercial engine runs at full speed.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage our business developer, sales team, and marketing manager.
- Translate strategic direction into actionable commercial plans and ensure seamless execution.
- Drive lead-generation efforts, go-to‑market campaigns, and account‑based sales processes.
- Monitor performance against KPIs, coach team members, and provide hands‑on support.
- Own company‑level commercial reporting and remove operational roadblocks.
- Collaborate with the VP Business Development to align execution with long‑term strategic goals.
- Oversee and optimise CRM and marketing automation tools to drive efficiency.
- Coordinate with product, customer success, and operations to ensure alignment and smooth handovers.
- Maintain a strong focus on process improvement, team coordination, and consistent delivery.
- 8+ years of B2B sales, business development, and marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record managing multidisciplinary commercial teams.
- Hands‑on, execution‑oriented leader with strong organisational skills.
- Experience executing go‑to‑market strategies, lead‑gen campaigns, and account‑based sales.
- Skilled in CRM and marketing automation tools to track KPIs and optimise workflows.
- Strong coaching and people management skills — able to develop and motivate teams.
- Background in a growth‑stage B2B environment (scale‑up or mid‑sized company) is a strong plus.
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus, depending on market).
