Crossings People is partnering with a prominent client in the professional services industry, seeking a Manager for their M&A Deal Execution team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact carve-out and integration projects across various sectors, including Healthcare, Financial Services, and the Public Sector. You will play a key role in steering complex transactions to successful completion, working with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team.
Job Overview:As a Manager in M&A Strategy and Execution, you will lead and manage teams focused on carve-out and integration projects. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of these transactions, adding value by identifying and realizing synergies, and translating strategic insights into actionable operational plans for the client.
Key Responsibilities:- Carve-out Advisory & Support: Lead carve-out projects, ensuring smooth transitions and successful separations for the client.
- Integration Advisory & Support: Oversee integration projects, facilitating seamless post-transaction mergers.
- Operating Model Design: Collaborate with the client to design future operating models, ensuring long-term value creation.
- Conduct financial impact assessments, providing data-driven insights into the implications of operational changes.
- Manage due diligence processes on both the buy-side and sell-side, contributing to the preparation of separation blueprints, integration plans, and day-one readiness.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Maintaining calm and oversight in a complex transaction environment.
- Quickly generating insights and translating them into operational implications.
- Adding value by identifying and realizing synergies.
- Successfully managing carve-out or integration implementations.
- Working in multi-disciplinary and international teams.
- A relevant Master's degree (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Technical studies).
- 5+ years of experience in M&A, finance, operations, or strategy, preferably within consultancy.
- Proactive, analytical, strong numerical skills, team player, results-driven, and resilient under pressure.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
- Strong reporting, presentation, communication, and team management skills.
