Dit is jouw rol

As a Software Developer, you will contribute to the development of the APL platform: the software that connects our parcel lockers with carriers such as PostNL, FedEx and GLS. You contribute to the cloud applications, embedded software and the APL Management application - our digital representation of the network. You will develop new features, make estimates, and improve technical components of the platform. Think of features that help managing capacity of the lockers or segregating the data accross different carries which you also test yourself!

You work in a scrum team with 2 week sprints. You will be given the space to make independent choices and explore new technologies, always in line with the APL architecture and within the framework of self-engineering.

Jouw collega's

You will be part of the APL team of the BIT E-commerce department. You will work together with a lead software engineer, a solution consultant, a platform owner and five developers. On Tuesdays and

Thursdays you will be together at the office in The Hague, the other days you will work hybrid. The atmosphere is open, collegial and focused on growth and cooperation.

• Salary between €4,030.55 and €6,402.21 gross per month (scale 10-11) for 37 hours per week. 32 hours is also possible!
• Pace to work hybrid and organize your times flexibly. Do you work from home two days or more a week? Then you will receive a compensation of € 45 net per month.
• Engineering Laptop (Mac or Windows) and a smartphone
• 8% holiday pay and 25 vacation days if you work full-time.

You also recognize yourself in the following:

• You have a higher professional education (HBO) or academic (WO) level.
• You have at least 3 years of experience as a software developer.
• You have experience with TypeScript and AWS cloud technology or similar for managing cloud infrastructure.
• You work with frameworks like CDK and TDD.
• You think and build with a serverless mindset and are familiar with event-driven architecture.
