Being without power is every organization's worst nightmare. Energy outages can bring processes to a grinding halt, but luckily, these experts make sure that never happens with high-tech solutions. You build, test, and optimize energy solutions that keep organizations running smoothly all over the world. Because if you install it, it works.
Tell me more...
For decades, this power expert has ensured uninterrupted electricity both domestically and abroad even if the grid fails. That way, organizations can just keep going. They develop and deliver tailor-made solutions, keep systems up to date, and continuously improve reliability. It takes a serious amount of knowledge and precision to keep everything running non-stop. That's why they could really use your help.
In your role, you make sure battery storage systems and control software run perfectly for various large clients. You test, configure, and commission everything so systems operate reliably day after day. Naturally, all with sustainable technology at heart. Because green technology is after all the most beautiful kind of technology there is.
Awesome, how can I help?
Using design documents and manuals, you commission energy solutions and carry out safety checks to meet all legal standards. You perform detailed tests on battery storage systems and check connectivity with the Energy Management System EMS via various communication protocols. You also measure battery performance and check synchronization with other energy sources such as solar PV and generators. You carry out technical and functional tests to ensure the systems respond correctly to changing energy demands or power outages. PLCs and SCADA systems are calibrated so everything runs smoothly.
You regularly coordinate with project managers and technical teams to ensure installations are delivered on time and according to plan. On site, you are the face of the project explaining systems to clients, performing FAT and SAT tests and making sure everything functions. After commissioning, you prepare clear reports and provide straightforward instructions for use and maintenance. In short, you are indispensable here.
Sounds great, but can I do this?
Do you have plenty of ideas for sustainable energy solutions, new technologies, and system improvements? Perfect. You have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field with experience in low and medium voltage systems, testing, and maintaining installations. It is a big plus if you are familiar with battery storage systems, have experience with Schneider or ComAp, and know communication protocols like Modbus or CAN-bus. With data loggers, power analyzers, and monitoring software, you continuously monitor voltage, current, and systems, tackling every technical problem in a structured way.
With the right balance between independence and teamwork, you navigate projects easily and build contacts quickly. You stay focused, maintain sharp attention to detail, and work well under pressure. You also speak and write fluent Dutch and English. Finally, you want to keep developing professionally and personally because if you stop learning, you stop growing.
Got it! But what do I get?
You will receive a solid salary between €4.500 and €5.700 per month. That should keep your bank account happy, right? You will also get enough vacation days to spend that money wisely. No need to worry about your retirement either, it is all well taken care of. And the best part is that you get the chance to grow and develop further, becoming a true expert.
