Without power, processes can come to a standstill, and that is every organization's nightmare. Luckily, as an expert, you make sure this never happens. You test, configure and commission the mechanical components of emergency power systems, so engines, generators and fuel systems always run reliably. Because when you handle it, it works!
Tell me more...
This power expert has been ensuring uninterrupted power supply at clients' sites both in the Netherlands and abroad for decades, even when the main grid fails. This way, organizations can keep running smoothly. They develop and deliver tailor made solutions, keep systems up to date and continuously improve reliability. It takes a lot of knowledge and precision to keep everything running without interruption. That is why they can really use your help.
In your role, you ensure that emergency power systems work perfectly at client locations. Think of engines and generators to fuel and urea systems. You test, configure and commission everything, so the installations run reliably, day in and day out.
Awesome, how can I help?
Using design documents and manuals, you commission emergency power systems and perform safety checks to meet all legal requirements. You carry out detailed tests on generators and fuel and urea systems, ensuring all mechanical components function correctly and start reliably in emergency situations. You perform technical and functional tests to make sure the systems operate reliably and meet all project requirements and standards.
You regularly coordinate with project managers and technical teams to ensure the installation is delivered on time and according to plan, both in the Netherlands and internationally (fun fact: you will spend two thirds of your time working abroad!). On site, you are the face of the project: you explain to clients how systems work, carry out FAT and SAT tests, and analyze technical issues to provide targeted solutions. After commissioning, you prepare clear reports and provide straightforward instructions for use and maintenance. In short, you are indispensable!
Sounds good, but can I do it?
Are you full of ideas for improving emergency power systems and solving technical challenges? Great!
