RA IKEA Food Services is now looking for a Range Manager to lead the range development for our Food Services, making sure we have a great offer in our many restaurants, bistros and other customer meeting points globally!
We want to strengthen our Food team with someone who shares our passion for food and our values. Someone with a values based leadership and strong focus and competence in leading the product development and range building with team of competent product developers. One who has an ability and interest to catch, analyse and act on Food trends in combination with a great interest in life at home.
The role IKEA Food has is driving the visitation to our stores and to lead one of top five global food chain resturants.
Job Description
The job as Range Manager puts you right in the center of our business by setting the global and local menu for the food in all our meeting points by developing the best products.
You are responsible to build a complete and coordinated, relevant and commercial product offer which has IKEA unique identity that enables a better experience in the customer meeting points.
You lead the range function and have managerial responsibility and work closely with our development teams; supporting, challenging and coaching in product development.
You are a part of the Range area Food service Management team and the extended Inter IKEA Group Food steering team, and by that you also have a joint responsibility for the full IKEA Food business.
Qualifications
Creating the IKEA offer requires a holistic strategic capability plus an eye for the details, as well as creativity and a thorough understanding of people's different needs and preferences.
To step into this position, you have the ability to:
- lead the creation of a product and range plan, including the aspects of product-, packaging- and service offer
- apply conceptualized thinking
- visualize, communicate and clarify long-term strategic range movements and directions
- build and retain strong and collaborative relationships and engaging ways of working through creative processes and across organizations
- work and lead on a strategic, as well as tactical level
It is also important that you have:
- growth mindset, being comfortable in exploration and not having all the answers
- knowledge, experience, and passion for food in general and cultural preferences and trends specifically.
- holistic mindset being able to navigate in complexity
- strong values based leadership and strongly work to developing yourself, your leadership and the team that you lead
