Additional information:
• This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight
• Applications close Wednesday 8 October 2025
• The shift times in this role will range between 8:30am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 8:30am to 8pm Sunday
• As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).
About this work area
As Customer Team Leader your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:• Leading the daily operations and support a team of co-workers in their work to secure a positive & seamless customer journey in a busy physical retail environment
• Having a thorough understanding of the payments process and using this to oversee and support the team in processing customer payments accurately and efficiently, maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Acting as a point of escalation for payment discrepancies or customer concerns, ensuring swift resolution to maintain trust and satisfaction
• Empower co-workers through continuous competence development and trust so they are always ready to support the customer journey
• Support your manager in managing the recruitment, retention, performance management and succession planning
• Working closely with your team and other teams within the business to meet department and store KPIs
As a Customer Team Leader you are/ have:
• Previous experience as a payments or customer service leader within a retail business
• Highly developed communication and organisational skills
• Passionate about understanding the customer journey, and how you & your team support in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
• Driven to thrive in a multi-faceted, fast paced environment where you are relentless about delivering the best outcomes for co-worker, customer, and business.
• You have an energetic leadership style; you thrive on the buzz you get from fast paced retail environment.
• Continuously proactive in seeking ways to simplify processes and reduce unnecessary negative costs to the business.
