What will you do? As a Secondary Electrical Engineer, you play a key role in designing and implementing secondary systems for high voltage substations. You ensure that projects are technically robust and future proof.
Your responsibilities include: • Designing and implementing protection, control, and SCADA systems • Preparing technical drawings and schematics • Performing relay settings and coordinating protection plans • Integrating and testing secondary systems with primary equipment • Analyzing and solving technical issues while continuously seeking improvements • Ensuring all activities comply with the highest European safety standards
Your team You will work in a close knit team of fellow Secondary Electrical Engineers and report to the Lead Engineer. The team is known for its strong collaboration and broad expertise. Together, you will work on challenging high voltage projects in the Netherlands and abroad. You will have the freedom to contribute your ideas and further develop your knowledge.
What do you bring? You are a technical professional who enjoys turning complex high voltage projects into a success. You combine in depth knowledge with solid experience and a proactive mindset. You feel comfortable working in a team, but you are just as capable of taking on challenges independently. You bring the following:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- At least 8 years of experience in Secondary Electrical Engineering, with a focus on high voltage substations
- A proactive and solution oriented attitude, seeing challenges as opportunities
- Strong team spirit and independence; you enjoy collaborating but can also take responsibility on your own
- Analytical skills and precision; you contribute ideas for improvements and safeguard quality and safety
