As a Groups Reservations Trainee, you are the first contact for group bookings and play a key role in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests for all our Revo Hospitality Group hotels. From handling and selling various requests to discussing the specific wishes and requirements of our clients in detail, you know exactly how to exceed expectations. From approaching potential customers to maintaining existing relationships. That is what you take care of together with your team. Selling group reservations energizes you. You handle the request from A to Z. You create a plan, arrange the contract, and ensure that all other related matters run smoothly. Successful group reservations are your goal, and you keep this in mind. This also means that, under the guidance of a colleague, if necessary, you sometimes give tours in the hotel and work closely with the organization, ensuring that reception and housekeeping staff receive the correct instructions. If you do your job well, along with your colleagues, the booking becomes an experience for the customers and, therefore, a great success. There are no limits to your abilities. In addition, you will be:
- Available MBO or HBO student for a minimum of 20 weeks, 5 days a week.
- Responsible for group bookings from A to Z, including.
- Handling incoming requests;
- Discussing wishes and requirements with the client, preparing competitive cost estimates and group offers, finalizing contracts, and making definitive arrangements.
- Processing the rooming lists from the Conference & Events department in the reservation system.
- Being responsible for welcoming accounts and arranging/conducting site inspections together with the group coordinators.
- Acting as the link between the organization and its clients.
- Managing administrative tasks, such as processing agreements and communicating them to colleagues in the hotel's operational departments.
- Applying hotel policies regarding cancellations, no-shows, etc.
- Being responsible for after-sales follow-up.
In this position, you will work Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. You will learn to work for all the six Revo Hospitality Group hotels and based in Mövenpick Amsterdam.

You are a driven sales person, very precise when it comes to administration and enthusiastic about working with numbers. You keep an overview of small and large events, and you don't like to say `no' to a request "Yes, we can" sounds better to you. You must have:
- Preferably knowledge of the Opera IT system.
- Fluent written and spoken knowledge of the English language, and preferably the Dutch language as well
