As an Operations Manager, you lead a team of supervisors and, indirectly, a large group of logistics employees. Together with your fellow Operations Managers, you ensure that thousands of parcels are processed every day—on time, safely, and with precision. Thanks to your experience, clear oversight, and down-to-earth approach, the operation remains sharp, people-focused, and future-ready.You effortlessly turn strategy into action. You're a visible presence on the floor, stand your ground, and stay calm under pressure. You navigate confidently between operations and support teams, build bridges without compromising, and take ownership—while inspiring others to do the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and manage team leaders and logistics staff.
• Coach, motivate, and empower your team to perform at their best.
• Analyze processes, drive improvements, and ensure changes are implemented effectively.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to create a smoother, safer, and more efficient operation.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, and safety.
• Promote and enforce HSSE guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

What You Bring

• A mbo+ or hbo-level education and at least 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics.
• Proven leadership: you’ve successfully led large teams and know how to motivate people in a fair and inspiring way.
• You stay calm and focused, even in the fast-paced and high-pressure world of logistics.
• Knowledge of LEAN, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is a plus.
• Safety is second nature to you — HSSE is part of your DNA.
• You’re flexible and willing to work in three rotating shifts.
• Strong communication skills: you know when to listen, when to speak up, and when to make decisions.
• And most importantly: you’re confident, honest, and approachable.

• A gross monthly salary between €5,000 and €6,500 (depending on experience)
• Shift allowance (ORT):
  • 30% between 20:00 and 24:00
  • 45% between 00:00 and 06:00
  • 50% on Saturdays and Sundays
  • 100% on public holidays
• Full-time position (38.75 hours per week)

• Travel allowance: €0.23 per kilometer (from 10 km up to a max of 25 km one way)
