THE POSITION
Are you passionate about food, hospitality, and leading a team? As our Kitchen Shiftleader, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality meals and smooth kitchen operations. From prepping breakfast for early risers to handling kitchen logistics during busy service times, you'll be the one keeping everything running like clockwork.
You’ll supervise and support the kitchen crew, ensure hygiene and safety standards are met, and contribute to creating a great F&B experience. You’re hands-on, proactive, and love working in a team — especially when things get busy.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and motivate the kitchen team during your shift
• Prepare and cook dishes according to brand and quality standards
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked kitchen
• Support with inventory control and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with the F&B team to deliver seamless service
• Step in during rush hours to assist and guide the team
• Monitor food presentation and portion control
• Communicate with other departments when needed for smooth operations
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• A warm, guest-first attitude with a passion for hospitality
• Strong kitchen skills and an eye for quality and cleanliness
• Excellent communication in English (Dutch is a big plus!)
• Ability to stay cool and focused under pressure
• Team leadership skills and a hands-on mindset
• Creativity, flexibility, and a drive to constantly improve
• Experience in a hotel or hospitality kitchen is a bonus
