At Aexus we act as the external sales engine for breakthrough software and tech companies. Since 2000 our 100+ colleagues have helped 500 + start-ups turn into global players by running their international expansion activities. Now we’re looking for a Sales Manager Benelux to build and lead a high-performing team that opens new doors for our partners across NL, BE & LU. In this role, you’ll partner with cutting-edge software and technology companies, guiding their entry and expansion into the Benelux market. You’ll define joint go-to-market strategies, lead business planning, and manage/oversee multi-level sales cycles, from initial engagement to closing deals conducted by your team members.

Tasks

What you’ll do

  • Lead & coach a team of 1-2 Teamleads & 5-8 SDRs / BDMs; hire, onboard and develop them into target-crushing pros.
  • Own the GTM plan for 20+ innovative SaaS and other tech-vendors; from developing value propositions and segmenting markets to multi-level enterprise pursuits.
  • Run strategic deals with the BDMs to model best practice and keep your edge.
  • Ensure your team prospects in a creative yet consistent way.
  • Define a joint go-to-market strategy and business planning to initiate and manage multi-level sales processes, from initial contact to closure.
  • Expand your network of C-level executives, innovation leads and channel partners throughout the Benelux tech-ecosystem.
  • Manage business relationships with owners and C-level executives at the software and tech companies we partner with, ensuring strategic partnerships and alignment on progress and results.

Requirements

What We Expect from You

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of experience in new business development or customer acquisition.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a sales team.
  • Hands-on approach; actively supports and participates in tasks when needed.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Deep understanding of the Benelux business markets and culture with strong strategic thinking.
  • Results-driven mindset, with the ability to take initiative and ownership.
  • Strong leadership abilities, fostering collaboration and growth within your team.
  • Innovative problem-solver, constantly seeking ways to improve processes.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Tech-savviness and a passion for SaaS and digital solutions.
  • Previous leadership experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Experience with qualification methodologies such as MEDDICC.
  • Experience in international markets and cross-border sales operations.
  • A background in tech sales, driving success for cutting-edge solutions.
