This role places you at the center of our operations, where you'll manage and optimize freight to ensure top-tier service delivery to our international clientele.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate LTL shipments across Europe, ensuring optimal load consolidation and timely deliveries
- Develop and lead long-term planning around freight volumes, resource allocation, and carrier capacity to meet dynamic market demands
- Optimize the LTL product portfolio, identifying new revenue opportunities, service enhancements, and margin improvements
- Oversee cross-dock processes to streamline handling and reduce inefficiencies
- Collaborate with carriers and internal teams to improve performance and profitability, and ensure alignment with strategic SLAs and market positioning.
- Monitor KPIs and continuously fine-tune processes to meet service and cost goals
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team focused on customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- Promote regulatory compliance and sustainability, ensuring high standards in safety, reporting, and emissions optimization
Requirements
- 5+ years in LTL operations, ideally in European road freight
- Solid understanding of trailer flows, cross-dock logistics, and customer service standards
- Strong communication skills, a hands-on leadership style, and the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS)
- Fluent in English and Dutch
