Head Chef
As a (Head) Chef you are fully responsible for the kitchen, and you make sure that the quality is consistent. Together with your team, you take care of the wishes of our guests for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and meetings. You are also responsible for the overall picture in the kitchen. You make sure everything runs smoothly. Throughout the day you have various tasks to ensure the greatest culinary experience for our guests.
Tasks & responsibilities
Responsible for the overall food concept and thinking of new dishes for the menu;
Recruiting, leading, motivating and coaching the staff;
Work according to hygiene- and HACCP guidelines;
Responsible for the stock management and ordering products.
Who are you?
You already have some experience in the kitchen and are now ready for the next step where you will be responsible for the team. You are a hard worker and likes to be involved in everything. This way you know what is going on and you know how to motivate your team. As a person you are stress-resistant, independent and you can communicate very well!
In addition to the above, we also have a few other qualities that we are looking for:
You live in or close to Amsterdam or Amstelveen;
A good team player, able to support and work with the whole team;
About 2 to 3 years of experience in the kitchen. Such as a sous-chef or chef the partie;
You have the ambition to grow and are now ready to develop yourself further;
You speak English fluently. Dutch is an advantage;
Besides these qualities you are also a real Daymaker.

What do we offer?
