Position Overview:
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing technical solutions for our international clients. You will work on multiple projects simultaneously, mentoring, and inspiring fellow team members while contributing to all stages of the design and development process at MODYN. The role demands a hands-on approach and the ability to translate complex ideas into innovative CAD models.
In a typical day at the office, you could find yourself creating surface models in SolidWorks, making sure to protect the design intent, comply to standards and production requirements, and in the afternoon, you will build a prototype to quickly validate your concepts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create 3D CAD models (SolidWorks) for a variety of projects.
- Develop technical solutions tailored to client needs, particularly in the mobility and health-tech sectors.
- Communicate complex concepts and design ideas to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, designers, clients, and production partners.

Skills and Qualifications:
- You must reside in the Netherlands and live within a maximum travel distance of 150 kilometers from Geldermalsen.
- Degree in design-related engineering or an equivalent technical qualification from a reputable university.
- Direct experience in mobility, health-tech or related fields is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks).
- Hands-on approach with practical experience in various production methods, including plastics manufacturing, aluminum extrusion, (die) casting etc.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a creative mindset.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch (or willingness to learn Dutch).
- Ability to take ownership of projects, manage time effectively, and adhere to budget constraints.
- Passion for innovation and enthusiasm for driving technical design work.
