The Commune restaurant is designed upon our hotel brand vision; The World’s Gathering Place. It’s the place around the Amsterdam Schiphol airport where guest come to work, meet, and relax, featuring a local and veg-forward menu. We are seeking for a passionate supervisor with a background in restaurant management, to join our team (full-time).
Main responsibilities:
- You will work closely, and assist the Restaurant manager and other supervisors in the day to day operations of the Commune restaurant. Supervising both front and back of house operations.
- Maintain an exquisite guest service, and lead staff to do the same. Up-selling all menu items to maximize food & beverage revenue, and being able to resolve any guest compliment within a professional manner.
- We are one big team, helping out others is a must – ‘Teamwork Makes The Dream Work’
- Accomplish change, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to achieve improvement.
- Consistent achievement of the service standards and quality.
- You follow all the safety and security policies and procedures of the company.
- Complete opening and/or closing duties.
Key personality traits and skills:
- You have a kind knowledge of all F&B standards, service, and products. You’re able to demonstrate hygiene codes correctly and are able to show safe us of all materials/equipment.
- You have strong communication skills and are a great team player.
- You are a people person, with a high passion for the hospitality industry and delivering exceptional service.
- You’re fluent in English, Dutch and/or any other language is appreciated.
- You are flexible; all days of the week and on holidays.
