Wat ga je doen?
As a project support Intern, you will actively contribute to the further development of the Work in South Holland brand and activities around attracting new talent. From supporting organising events for talent and employers to the development of content together with your colleagues and external partners. The internship combines communication and project support tasks. You will provide support to maintain the job board with English vacancies - monitoring vacancies and onboarding new companies. Communication tasks involve drafting social media posts, writing content for the new website, setting up newsletters and event support.
As project support intern you will also support our team by conducting research about talent attraction and retention. Think about research about the entry level job opportunities in the peace and justice or high-tech sector. Research to help international graduates navigate their local job search.
Your day-to?'to?'day tasks include:
- Monitor the job board Work in South Holland
- Identify new companies for the job board based upon registrations and new startups
- Identifying and create content for social media, website and newsletters about working and living in The Hague, Rotterdam, Delft and Leiden.
- Assisting in the preparation of events (online, live, hybrid), and during the event itself;
- Contribute to setting up a career newsletter and to articles for this career newsletter;
Wat vragen wij?
- You are creative and energetic, and you are interested in the field of talent attraction, international students, communications, marketing, PR and events;
- You have first?'hand experience with moving to another country;
- You are eager to learn, open to feedback and always looking for opportunities to improve;
- You are outgoing and comfortable interacting with attendees during our events;
- You are fluent in English (C2 to native level) and Dutch (A2/B1 level). Knowledge of the Dutch culture and habits is highly appreciated.
- You are officially enrolled in a research university or university of applied sciences.
Wie zijn wij?
The Hague International Centre is the point of contact for all international newcomers in The Hague and region including Delft, Leidschendam?'Voorburg, Wassenaar and Rijswijk. We offer information and guidance about living and working in The Hague region and we support international newcomers and employers to make them feel welcome in our region. We also take care of formalities such as municipal registration, citizen service number (BSN), and issuance of residence permits. We do this in close collaboration with our partners ACCESS and the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND).
Our new project Work in South Holland helps employers attract more international talent. Under the brand of Work in South Holland we offer information about open vacancies, economic sectors and steps to grow your career in The Hague, Rotterdam, Delft and Leiden. We aim to attract more tech talent from abroad and retain international students and other talent already in the region.
