You and your job
Now, let's talk about you and your pivotal role. As a Scrum Master, you will be the guiding light for two dynamic squads. Your days will be filled with facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching and mentoring on Agile practices, and banishing any impediments that dare to hinder the squads' progress. But that's just the beginning!
You will be the master conductor of effective communication, the catalyst for continuous improvement, and the driving force behind team motivation and empowerment. As a true pillar of the Pay and Receive on Time Area, you will help nurture its growth and maturity. Imagine participating in captivating Area rituals, collaborating closely with the Area leadership, and making a significant impact on a grand scale.
Practical examples
But let's not forget the practical examples that will make your Scrum Master journey even more thrilling! You'll orchestrate mesmerizing Squad and Area Scrum rituals, from the mesmerizing planning sessions to the vibrant stand-ups, thought-provoking reviews, and insightful retrospectives. You will be the backbone, working alongside Product Owners to maintain healthy product backlogs, shaping the planning and roadmap of activities in harmony with our brilliant DevOps teams.
And that's not all, dear Scrum Master. You will bring teams together, uniting them in a harmonious dance towards successful product delivery. Your expertise will extend beyond your squads, as you lend your wisdom and support to the Area Leadership team on captivating transformation topics. Yes, you will operate on a bigger scale, making waves of change that will leave an indelible mark.
You and your talent
If you embody the following qualifications, we have a great opportunity for you. We are looking for someone who:
- Brings a minimum of 5+ years of Scrum Master / Agile Coach experience, showcasing your seasoned expertise and deep understanding of Agile practices.
- Holds an advanced Scrum Master certificate such as PSM2 (Scrum.org) or Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (ScrumAlliance.org), highlighting your dedication to continuous learning and mastery of Agile methodologies.
- Has experience with LeSS or the Spotify Scrum at Scale model, offering valuable insights and strategies for scaling Agile within our area, propelling us towards new heights of success.
- Excels in coaching teams that work across multiple locations, demonstrating your ability to foster collaboration, overcome challenges, and ensure effective teamwork in a distributed environment.
- Is currently working and living in the Netherlands, enabling seamless integration into our dynamic team and the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local work culture.

In addition, with us (based on a 36-hour working week), you can also expect:
- a gross monthly salary between €4.292 and €6.130 gross per month (scale 9).
- 13th month and holiday pay: as of January 1, 2023, the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
- an Employee Benefit Budget of 11% of your gross salary. You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving a monthly cash payout.
- a personal budget of €1.400 that you can spend on activities related to your personal development and career.
- Flexibility when it comes to location-independent working or at the office.
- 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
- Attractive pension fund with a personal contribution of only 5.5%. Rabobank will contribute 21.5%.
- Compensation for on-call duty/consignment after business hours, holidays and in the weekends.
