As a Purchase manager you will play a key role in providing support to a fast pace supply chain & logistics team based in our Kerkrade office.
Tasks & Responsibilities
▪ Monitor inventory, prepare and place purchase orders
▪ Follow up order schedules with suppliers & chasing deliveries
▪ Check order confirmation & supplier invoices
▪ Work on new products with suppliers and internal sales teams
▪ Master data maintenance
▪ Support logistics to coordinate inbound deliveries and inform sales
▪ Upon request chase and change shipping into airfreight
▪ Other duties as assigned, such as negotiations with suppliers and service agents
Your profile
▪ Business mindset and self-motivated
▪ At least 3 years’ experience in supply chain / purchasing
▪ Experience in purchasing in worldwide goods commerce welcome
▪ Your English skills are at a high level- both written and spoken
▪ Very good MS Office skills
▪ Strong communicator
▪ High level of individual responsibility and attention to detail
▪ Ability to work independently, prioritize and complete tasks
▪ SAP experience is a plus
