As an IT Operations Manager at Urban Gym Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, supporting our growing network of fitness & wellbeing clubs and operational HQ in Amsterdam. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our IT department, managing a team of talented technicians, and ensuring the security and reliability of our IT systems.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including network administration, systems management, and help desk support. Remaining hands-on with the technical side is key whilst you build your teams.
- Manage and grow a team of IT technicians across different disciplines, providing guidance and mentorship to help them develop their skills
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Identify and resolve IT issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that IT systems are aligned with business goals
- Assist the Head of IT in the implementation and maturing of ITSM practices
- Own Request Fulfilment, Incident Management, Major Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and Asset Management
- Analyse IT expenses and provide regular reports to the Head of IT and stakeholders
- Help develop the IT department's annual budget
- Forecast future IT expenses based on growth, projects, and trends
- Find ways to save money on IT without reducing quality

You:
- 5+ years of experience as a senior systems administrator or network administrator
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team of IT professionals
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and security principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
