Supervisor Integration

As an Integration Supervisor, you are the link between the customer and operations, overseeing a team of approximately 20 employees along with 3 other Supervisors. Discover what you will be doing in this role!

Your workplace

Our High Tech campus in Beringe consists of 5 locations with a total surface area of approximately 145,000 m2, and you will be part of the site where the new customer is being implemented. You, along with your colleagues, are responsible for the new customer specializing in network equipment. Your team will steadily grow from the moment the implementation starts. Eventually, you will be responsible for approximately 20 employees in this technical operation. You report to the Operations Manager.

Your tasks as an Integration Technician

You are responsible for managing a team of Integration Technicians and Integration Operators, focusing on personnel planning, monitoring daily operations, aligning with the customer, and acting as an expert technical specialist to align with specifications, testing, planning, and progress of the integration area. You act as a sort of escalation point for the team.

• Creating the personnel schedule;
• Handling HR-related tasks;
• Initiating improvement processes for staffing;
• Building and maintaining professional knowledge of the applications used by the operational and supporting departments;
• Responsible for building a competent integration team;
• All relevant daily resource management processes; 
• Adequately following up on customer requests that need to be executed by the team and initiating and/or executing escalations if necessary;
• Providing status updates using standard procedures.

Your qualities

• Bachelor's degree (HBO/WO) in a technical discipline or relevant field. This requirement is really important;
• Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical and/or optical fiber environment;
• Knowledge of telecommunications, optical transmission systems, particularly WDM technology (Wavelength Division Multiplexing Technology);
• Analytical, proactive, and leadership skills;
• Knowledge of a logistics environment is a plus; 
• Excellent command of the English language. Dutch and/or French are a strong plus; 
• Familiarity with optical measurement equipment and procedures;
• Adaptability, enthusiasm, and ability to prioritize.
